Meeting Requests

Not every project needs them, but most do. Meetings are important, but it does cost money to have valuable team members sitting in meetings when they could be coding amazing creations or saving the world from boring eLearning.

So before we can commit to a meeting we need to consider 4 questions:

  1. What is the primary goal of the meeting? (issues that need resolving)
  2. How long will the meeting last? (short and effective works best)
  3. Who needs to be at the meeting?  (allocate the right people)
  4. How will the meeting be paid for? (from contracted support hours or a new budget)
  5. Can we resolve it over email instead without incurring a cost? (email our help desk)
