Who deals with WordPress Updates?

We do. So there's no need to worry. WordPress updates all of the time, there seems to be a new version or plugin update almost every week.
However, we don't need to rush into updating it straight away, unless it fixes a security flaw or massive bug.

The reason for this is because your WordPress site has lots of plugins, all doing different things, and some plugins are not always compatible with the latest release and the plugin developers need time to upgrade them and fix any bugs.

Before we upgrade, we need to ensure that all these plugins will still work. Otherwise, we run the risk of your site not functioning in the way it did, and we won't be able to roll back.

What about warning messages and other strange things on the WordPress dashboard?

You will see messages on WordPress all the time, asking you to review things, warning you about compatibility, even sometimes trying to sell you things. Again, don't worry about them. We perform regular scans of your site.
