Elementor - Adding or customising the site fonts

Adding new fonts and managing them on your Wordpress site is easy, when using Elementor.

Adding a new Font

If you are using Elementor Pro to style your pages, you can add a new font to Elementor itself.

You do this under Elementor > Custom fonts on the dashboard.

Once on this page, you will need to select the 'Add New' button in the top corner. Make sure you fill in the fields appropriately with a name, and upload your font variations. You will be able to select these fonts on the Elementor page editors

Note: You will need to ensure you upload the fonts in a suitable format such as .WOFF or .TTF

Modifying Site Fonts

If you edit your pages using Elementor, you can change the fonts used globally through the Site Settings panel.

You can find this page when editing any Elementor page by locating the top left burger menu and selecting 'Site Settings', alternatively you find this option by hovering over the 'Edit with Elementor' button and selecting 'Site Settings'.

Once here, under the appropriate heading 'Typography', you can see all the fonts associated with the different HTML tags on your site. H1, H2, H3, etc.

You can change them like you would a standard Elementor block, and changing the appropriate option here will change the default for all of that text with that tag (H1, H2, H3, etc).

Note - Anywhere you have modified the fonts to override global settings, will need to be edited at the individual level, you can use your new font on standard page editors as well as in Site Settings
